TCM in collaboration with TIP, performs business activities supporting the operation and maintenance of crude oil facilities, provision of Light Passenger Vehicles, electrical work, and civil construction in fulfillment of TIP’s contract with PT Pertamina Gas in the Rokan area, Riau. This contract is a joint effort to support the government’s program to increase lifting from the Rokan block, which is the backbone (one third) of the national oil production.
The Rokan oil pipeline was built in two corridors, namely the Balam-Bangko-Dumai and Minas-Duri-Dumai corridors. This pipeline passes through five regencies/cities in Riau Province, namely Dumai, Bengkalis, Siak, Kampar and Rokan Hilir.

The gas produced is used for a Gas and Steam Power Plant (PLTGU), which in turn supplies electricity to the Java-Bali electricity system via a 150kV transmission network.
