Corporate Policies

With our guiding principle of causing no harm in everything we do, all employees of PT Trimitra Cipta Mandiri and its contractors are vested with the authority and responsibility to stop work if it becomes apparent that harm could occur to:

• Ourselves as individuals.
• Our co-workers.
• Assets, whether our own or those of others, including materials and equipment.
• The environment in which we work.
• The planet as a whole.
• Future generations.

Should any occasion arise where commencing or continuing a work activity may result in harm to any or all of the above, work must cease immediately and the task be re-evaluated for a safer approach. If there is any doubt about ceasing an activity, the immediate supervisor must be advised and consulted on the best way to continue.

PT Trimitra Cipta Mandiri recognises the risks arising from the effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace, and has adopted a “Zero Tolerance” policy for unauthorised drugs, narcotics, and alcohol on company premises.

• No person is permitted to enter any Company work location while under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or improperly used medication. The Company reserves the right to conduct drug and alcohol testing at any time.
• Entry into any work location is conditional upon the Company’s right to search personnel and their belongings for contraband items. Searches are conducted by authorised personnel, in private and as discreetly as possible.
• Possession or use of any such contraband item, a positive drug or alcohol test, or refusal to consent to testing or inspection, constitutes grounds for immediate termination of employment.

While it is recognised that everyone makes a personal choice whether to smoke or not, medical evidence clearly shows that smoking and secondhand smoke can cause irreparable damage to the body. Therefore, in applying our principle of causing no harm, smoking is not permitted in any public area, including any permanent and/or temporary office, accommodation, or hallway:

• Common areas such as pantries, toilets, and similar spaces.
• Storerooms or warehouses.
• First aid rooms.
• Workshop, mechanical, or electrical spaces.
• Any other area designated by the senior person in charge.

Where smoking is permitted, the area must be clearly marked as a designated smoking area. Employees using designated smoking areas are responsible for their general cleanliness and upkeep at all times, and for ensuring that no cigarette butts remain lit, as these may cause a fire.

PT Trimitra Cipta Mandiri is committed to implementing policies for the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS across all work areas and units, in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Indonesia. PT Trimitra Cipta Mandiri is committed to:

• Conducting outreach on HIV/AIDS prevention and control programmes through education using various media considered effective.
• Building employee awareness of the need to protect the dignity of co-workers living with HIV/AIDS.
• Treating the health condition of employees living with HIV/AIDS as confidential.
• Encouraging employees to undergo routine, confidential, and voluntary HIV/AIDS testing, accompanied by counselling.
• Ensuring that this policy is implemented across all work areas and units of PT Trimitra Cipta Mandiri.

The management of PT Trimitra Cipta Mandiri is responsible for ensuring that this policy is communicated to all employees in all work areas and units so that it is observed and implemented.
